Fox Meadow Phase IV Homeowner's Association
Board Meeting
August 10, 2006
The August Board meeting of the Fox Meadow Phase 4 Homeowner's Association was held on August 10, 2006, and called to order at 7:35 PM by the President, Dick Nyzen. There were 13 homes represented at the meeting.
The Board Members present were Dick Nyzen, Steve Venezia, Cheryl May and Ron Michalec.
Approval of Minutes:
Cheryl May made a motion to approve the June and July minutes. The minutes were approved as read by the board.
Committee Reports:
Dick Nyzen once again gave an explanation of the Covenants Committee. He read the articles from the covenants pertaining to the duties of the covenants committee for Phase 4. He clarified the fact that the declarant/builder is not responsible for the past builder's violations of the covenants. He did however explain the responsibilities of the present declarant/builder in respect to design control in Phase 4.
Steve Venezia discussed the checklist that was mailed to everyone after the walk around, with the hope that residents would identify their covenant violations and start to address themselves. Lynn Nyzen informed the residents of the rules for the checklist. She also talked about the procedure for enforcement of covenant violations.
Doug Fee expressed his concern that the residents were not notified that the walk around was taking place. Dick Nyzen informed Doug that it was discussed at the July meeting and several residents were present at that meeting.
Doug Fee also felt that several changes needed to be made to the covenants; (ie: RV issue, dog leash, dish). After a lengthy discussion, Doug volunteered to chair a committee to review the covenants and suggest changes. He will ask for volunteers to participate on the committee and will report back to the board with their suggestions.
With the conclusion of business, Cheryl May made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Ron Michalec seconded it, motion carried. The meeting was adjourned.
